100 word challenge

At the start line I was swimming in nerves, my feet and hands were trembling out of control.

When we started I tried to get in the front so I didn’t have to pass many people.

The first lap was really easy, then it got harder and harder as each daunting lap went by.

Everyone was cheering us on which gave me a nice feeling inside to keep going.

On the third lap the mud was really squelching under my feet. Right at the finish I sprinted really hard at the end.

I came 6th in the end

I just love running up and down my hall and sliding on a blanket at the end.

My mum always told me that I was just fooling around and that someday I was going to get hurt. I knew that that was never going to happen.

But I just kept doing it and doing it and doing it, and besides I always got my timing right. I would never go too far, never fall short.

But of course it’s not always a happy ending. Suddenly I hit the wall and the red spot on my leg grew bigger and bigger.

'I say this prayer and thank god for giving people the strength and the opportunity to participate in the olympic experience.I pray for all the nations coming together in harmony and representing their country with pride, as their flag flies high. We pray that all athletes will compete with perseverance. If they win they are champions, but if they do not win let them be brave in their attempts. AMEN'

Chinese dining day

'Qing zuo'. (Please sit). Soon after we sat down the first plate of food came out. It was wontons!! My favourite. Soon after that another plate of food came out, and another a another and so on. I thought the noodles were the best out of all the dishes then coming in close second the pan fried dumplings. The food was very lovely and i'll definitely go back again with my parents. I really enjoyed chinese dining day.

100 word challenge

100 word Challenge Scampering in the forest one minute and in love the next. The candles were blazing as we sat there. As the flame flickered and then went out… We were trapped in a world of abundance just both of us together in a world of our own. At the table one minute and then in a split second of terror we were gone in the dark forever. It confused me why was my world tumbling down and for a matter of fact why in the dark. To be continued in a manner that you won’t expect at all.
